Hello all and Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope that you are warm and I know you are looking forward to spring. It has been lovely here in Tennessee this week- I can see buds on my Bradford pear tree and buttercups peeking out from the ground. It’s a little colder today, but still looks like we will have sunshine all day. My sweetie and I are going to see our great-nephew play basketball, then go out for the best hamburger I’ve ever had at a little diner type restaurant in Henderson, Tennessee called Bells. I’ve been going there since I was just a little girl and people drive from miles around for the food.
The SCS Limited Supply Challenge this week was to get out of our comfort zone and do something different. I’ve always run the other way when it comes to the brayering technique because it just seemed so hard. So I decided to challenge myself and give it a real try. I went to Michelle Zindorf’s blog, the ultimate expert on this technique and pretty much cased this card. Her creations are amazing and if you haven’t visited her blog, I highly recommend you spend some time there. You will really be inspired.
So, here’s my creation. I liked it so much I made several for my March “guy” cards. I used On the Fly by Stampin’ Up which is a newly retired set. The images are colored and then clear embossed which really makes the colors pop. It was a lot of fun to make and I can’t wait to try another one.
