Sweet Brilliant Pumpkin Gardens – CC200

What a strange title!  It’s the color combo challenge for today on SCS and I added the “Sweet” to go with this cute, cute and yummy image from Great Impressions.  The colors are Brilliant Blue, Pumpkin Pie and Garden Green.  I love the green and pumpkin together and managed to work in the blue to comply with the challenge.  I love Brilliant Blue, but adding it to the other two colors really WAS a challenge.  Check out today’s great challenge creations on SCS here.

Sweet Delights – Mojo68 – Poetic Artistry

mojo68-sweet-delights-008I love Julee’s MojoMonday sketches and her blog is to die for!  You must check it out here!!! I played today using a brand spankin’ new stamp (for me) from Great Impressions.  The sample at my LSS had a lot of tiny glitter on it, but I was a little too lazy to get that fancy.  I do love this sketch Julee and will be back next Monday.  Mojo Monday has a new home, so if you want to take a look you can click on the logo in my sidebar and get a peak at this spiffy site and the sketch of the week.

Supplies:  Stamps:  Great Impressions Vicki;  Paper:  Whisper White, PTI White, So Saffron, Bo Bunny Brilliant Blue Dot and Bashful Dot DSP; Ink:  Stazon Jet Black, Read Red, Pretty in Pink, So Saffron, Barely Banana, Ruby Red, Regal Rose, Blush Blossom, Ballet Blue; Accessories: Black and White gingham ribbon (Wal-Mart), Nesties, Black brads, Scallop edge punch, dimensionals, SU! Markers.

Thanks for taking a look and many blessings for new beginnings!

Back to Normal- Whatever that is!!! January Scrapbook Calendar

Well, I hope everyone is back to normal activities- whatever they may be!  We are empty nesters again…Scott and his doggie Emma are back in Atlanta and mother-in-law back with her daughter.  We’ve certainly enjoyed having these special folks with us the last couple of weeks, but it is nice to just sit back and chill for awhile.

Here is my first Calendar scrapbook page for 2009 and I hope I do better this year than last.  These fit in a nice page holder on the frig and go into a pretty scrapbook after the month is over.  I put the month’s photos and memorabilia in the scrapbook- it’s pretty cute.

My Favorite Things-Monogram Cards-LSC201

Today’s SCS Limited Supply Challenge was to use one of our favorite stamps sets, colors and favorite accessories in our creations.  I spent the last couple of weeks before Christmas making monogram card sets for my nieces and favorite aunt and this morning decided to play in the challenge and make a set for me.   My favorite stamp set changes almost every day, but I just can’t get enough of this monogram set from JustRite. They had a super two for one special just before the holidays, so I bought myself an early Christmas present and sent one to my dear friend Lisa as her gift.  lsc201-my-favorite-things-007

Here’s one card from the set I made this morning, plus a photo of the seven sets I made for gifts.  I made two scripture boxes for each set of eight cards  (for top and bottom) and the girls just loved them.  Amber said hers were too pretty to send!

The supplies are very basic:  JustRite Special Occasions stamper, Various DSP and cardstock colors, Cuttlebug Dotted Swiss EF, Scallop Circle Punch, Circle Punch and Wal-Mart/SU! Ribbons and Sticky tape.

The box is super easy to make and I will post the instructions soon.

I hope your week has been great and Happy New Year to all!            Many blessings,    Diane
